Paddling Fit!

Paddling is great low impact way of getting fit, plus it has the obvious benefits that being outdoors bring.
At Paddle Experience we not only offer tours, but also run awesome Paddle Fit groups on the Zandvlei Estuary in Muizenberg. Each session is an hour long, and includes elements such as distance work, or speed intervals, or technique training, as well as warm ups of course!
You do not need to know how to paddle, and you do not need to be fit to start! Our kayaks are incredibly stable, a perfect way to start your paddling journey!

Weekend of the Lighthouses

Roman Rock Light House

NO 1: Roman Rock Lighthouse – this iconic piece of rock should be on your kayaking bucket list! South Africa’s only lighthouse to be built on a single rock and the culmination of our extended Simon’s Town Tour! We got to see whales, penguins and seals along the way of course!

Cape Point Light House

NO2: BOTH Cape Point Lighthouses – NOT for novice kayakers! Leaving from Buffels and heading south along the peninsula you come up to the lighthouses, so absolutely associated with a trip to Cape Town, but not often from a kayak! The sea is certainly a bot rougher out near the meeting point of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans. An amazing experience!

College of Magic

Paddle Experience were priviledged to host The College of Magic as they took to the waters of the Zandvlei Estuary Nature Reserve.

We had an absolute blast kayaking with them around and picnicing on Park island with this amazing group… a whole different kind of magic!

Amazing!

Riaan Coetzer captured some beautiful images of a whale coming up alongside a diver at Windmill Beach, Simon’s Town!
We can’t wait to start paddling here too!
